Featured Project
A sculptural cascade of cantilevered concrete steps rising through a sloping lawn to a contemporary timber-clad home.
Designed to answer the bold architecture of the house, this garden treats the slope as the canvas. A series of off-set, cantilevered concrete blocks float through the lawn — at once a staircase, a sculpture and a quiet route of arrival toward the full-height glazing above.
Each tread was cast on site, sized and angled to feel inevitable against the geometry of the charred timber cladding. Soft swathes of ornamental grasses settle the foreground of the home, while the lawn is allowed to do the heavy lifting — a single confident gesture, expertly built.
